Track Wraps Up Sunday

The last four days of the Olympic Trials for Track & Field at UO’s Hayward Field run Thursday through Sunday, June 28-July 1, and the full schedule of events can be found at www.tracktown12.com

Here is some basic information for those who do not have convenient internet access.

Thursday’s competitions begin at 3:50 pm and the last event is at 7:38 pm. Events (in order) include women’s 1,500m, men’s 1,500m and triple jump, women’s high jump, men’s pole vault, women’s 400m hurdles and shot put, men’s 400m, discus and 3,000m steeplechase, women’s 200m and 5,000m and men’s 5,000m.

Friday’s competitions begin at 10:30 am and the last event is at 4:45 pm. Events include the women’s 100m hurdles, high jump and shot put, men’s 200m, women’s javelin, girls’ and boys’ high school mile, women’s 200m, 400m hurdles, shot put and long jump, men’s 400m hurdles, women’s 1,500m, men’s 110m hurdles and 1,500m and women’s 3,000m steeplechase.

Saturday’s competitions begin at 7:30 am and the last event is at 6:50 pm. Events include men’s 20k race walk, women’s long jump, boys’ and girls’ Special Olympics 100m, women’s javelin, men’s 110m hurdles and triple jump, women’s high jump, boys’ and girls’ 200m, women’s 400m, men’s 200m, women’s 800m, men’s 110m hurdles and women’s 200m.

Sunday’s all-finals competitions begin at 7:30 am and the closing ceremonies are at 4:55 pm. Events include the women’s 20k race walk, javelin, long jump and 400m hurdles, men’s 400m hurdles, women’s 1,500m, and men’s 1,500m and 200m.
