Rachael Carnes has written for The Stranger in Seattle, as well as Eugene Weekly, since the mid-nineties. Covering dance, theater, performance art, as well as human interest stories, Rachael enjoys meeting new people and seeing their creative process in action. As the founder of a local non profit, Sparkplug Dance, she teaches movement to kids in our community who juggle any number of risk factors.
Ted Taylor was editor-in-chief of Eugene Weekly from 1998 to his retirement in 2016, and he remains a contributing writer. He is a UO journalism grad with 30 years experience in daily and weekly newspaper writing, editing and managing.
Amy Klarup (formerly Amy Schneider) is special issues editor for Eugene Weekly. She covers K-12 education in Lane County and has degrees in zoology and journalism. She enjoys the ambiguity of her job title.
