A colorful expanse of chalk art will fill the streets of Springfield this Friday. In its first Chalk Art Festival, the Eugene Springfield Art Project will gather together professional chalk artists, giving them six hours to create splashes of artwork. And don’t worry, it’s not just for the pros: Eugene Tutor will provide sidewalk chalk for attendees of all ages and skill levels to doodle to their hearts content.
ChalkFest is noon-8pm Friday, Aug. 8, at 509 Main St., Spfd. FREE.
