Bond. Road Bond.

The ballot measure 20-296, also known as “Fix Springfield’s Roads,” proposes a five-year bond to finance badly needed road improvements for heavily travelled streets. Anyone who has spent a lot of time driving our streets has seen the wear and tear that the general disrepair inflicts daily on our vehicles. This gradual damage to our cars lands heaviest on our lower-income citizens, who often can’t afford the vehicle maintenance that bad roads require.

A bond to keep our roads safe isn’t just a safety issue. It improves the daily finances of those who need the money most.
