Chris Wig’s letter (EW, 8/8) attacking Councilors Emily Semple and Betty Taylor reflects more accurately on Wig than on either councilor. Wig is a loyal foot soldier of the power cabal controlling Eugene city government.

Councilors Semple and Taylor are champions of the public interest of Eugene residents.
