“Bending Light: Mood/Magic/Metaphor” features the work of Eric French of Corvallis, Matt Reese of Eugene and Kurt Norlin of Albany. A reception and gallery talk will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to noon in the SSH Gallery. Professional Photographers Create Exhibit  on “Atmosphere.” Fourteen large scale stunning images of mountains & landscapes selected for their qualities of atmosphere are on display. The artists share a passion for atmosphere and capturing it in their photos. The photographs are printed on aluminum sheets showing brilliant 3D effects. Judy Ness has been weaving and teaching fiber arts since 1994. Each painter will create TWO paintings on 8 x 10 canvas. In Morse Mythology, wolves have a ferocious role.  We will paint, and stencil Fenrir wolf, a symbol of chaos, and Geri and Freki, two wolves said to accompany the god Odin.  Painters will have two finished products, one in cool ice blue colors and the other in warm yellows overlaid with a wolf print in the snow.
