The Movement Project is doing a shoe drive fundraiser to help support their annual dance show. Each year The Movement Project hosts a dance show featuring local dance groups as well as special guest performers from along the West Coast to raise awareness and fund research for a rare pediatric brain cancer called ATRT (atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumors). It’s time to unleash your inner dog and leash up your four-legged friend/s for the 25th Bark in the Park, Greenhill Humane Society's 2K walk and 5K/10K run. This year’s event is at Alton Baker Park on Sunday, May 20. Bark in the Park – a fundraiser for Greenhill Humane Society

On Your Barks, Get Set, Go!  Alton Baker Park goes to the dogs on Sunday May 20th, when over 1,000 dogs and their people leash up for a 10K, 5K, or 2K run/walk in the park. There's the run, the walk, canine activities, vendor booths, demonstrations, and more!
