Social Liberation Workshop

Insight Meditation, also known as Mindfulness or Vipassana, is the practice of moment to moment kind awareness as a way of relating to our mind, body and the fullness of life. We begin with a 30 minute period of guided meditation, followed by a discussion. We offer an orientation for newcomers on the first Sunday of the month at 6:00. Drop-ins are welcome.

Refuge Recovery from addiction is a program based on the Buddhist practices of meditation, mindfulness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity to heal the pain and suffering that all forms of addiction has caused. Meetings open with either a mindfulness or concentration meditation, followed by reading of a text and then open discussion.   Please contact ohaire@comcast.net  if you have questions.

Donations gladly accepted to help with facility costs.  We offer meditation instruction during Meditation, Dharma and Discussion and Learn to Meditate workshops help monthly, please see calendar for dates and times. On rare occasion we do need to reschedule so please verify on our website calendar particularly on national holidays.
