Benito Juárez Celebration
March 9 • 5:15 pm - 8:30 pm• $1
Kelly Middle School is hosting its “12th Benito Juárez Celebration”. Our theme this year is “We Are the North Region Community”. This is an evening of art, music, dance, student presentations, and a superb dinner with traditional homemade Mexican food. Tickets are sold at the door for $1.00 each to exchange for food items in the cafeteria.
There will be music at the entrance by “Kelly Marimba.” Attendees can buy homemade Mexican food items in the cafeteria with the tickets they purchased at the door. During dinner, the audience will be able to see a slide show with students working on art projects in different classes on our new TV monitor. A traditional toy collection donated by the government of Guanajuato, Mexico, will be on display in the cafeteria.
The program continues in the small gym with traditional Mexican music from “Mariachi del Shedd”, followed by “Ahiru Daiko” drumming group form the U of O. To keep up the energy, the Casino Rueda group “Azucar” will get the audience on their feet and moving to the SALSA rhythms to close the evening.
COME CELEBRATE WITH THE NORTH REGION COMMUNITY AT KELLY MIDDLE SCHOOL!
