Cycling Nutrition and Performance with Taryn Hand, Sports Dietician

Come join Taryn Hand, a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, to learn all about fueling your cycling performance. Nutrition strategies before, during and post exercise will be discussed, and more!
Taryn works at the University of Oregon Health Center as a dietician with an emphasis on Sports Nutrition. She received her MS in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Oregon State University. Her professional areas of interest include sports nutrition, disordered eating, and wellness and general nutrition. She also really enjoys researching the science of nutrition and translating that into practical, easy strategies to maximize health and wellness.
Outside of work, she enjoys cycling (both road and mountain—and jumping into the occasional race), trail running, backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking (really anything outdoors), baking, reading, and playing with dogs.
