Lane United Football Club
After calling the Civic Park Market of Choice their home field for the first time during the 2021 season, local semi-pro soccer club Lane United FC will return to Civic for the 2022 season. LUFC Manager Dave Galas re-unites with brother John Galas, who will lead the team as head coach. Players from last season’s Oregon Open Cup-winning squad, like 2-time Western Conference Goalkeeper of the Year Albert Escuin, will be back to bolster the squad as it aims for its first division crown.
Bushnell
Civic Park and the Market of Choice Field also hosted collegiate soccer games. Both Men’s and Women’s teams from Bushnell University played games at Civic Park and Bushnell hosted the Cascade Northwest Collegiate Semi – final Championships at MOC.
Friends of South Eugene
Indoors, the KS Fieldhouse also hosted special events such as the “Friends of South Eugene High School Dinner Banquet & Fundraiser.” The Friends of South Eugene had great feedback from the 200+ attendees. The parking was easy, the basketball courts were divided elegantly into a “reception area,” “a dinner area,” and a “staging area” for the dinner catering.
Offsite Corporate Meetings and Celebrations
The KS Fieldhouse Conference room and Upper Lobby hosted numerous offsite corporate and business meetings, as well as Holiday Celebrations this past year. The spacious, open design 650 sq ft conference room has a professional, yet personable atmosphere for meetings, conferences, and celebrations. The Upper-Level Lobby has tables and counters to be used for vendor areas and/or seating areas for larger meetings.
