Foo Fighters made national music headlines last week with their show in Eugene at Matthew Knight Arena. Foo Fighters were in town supporting 2017 release Concrete and Gold, and Kris Novoselic (former Nirvana bassist) joined Dave Grohl on stage for a rocking rendition of early Foo Fighters hit “Big Me.” In case you don’t know, Dave Grohl played drums in Nirvana, a legendary grunge three-piece fronted by Kurt Cobain. Portland photographer, and former EW intern Sam Gehrke, captured some images from the historic night. Behold Dave Grohl and the boys as they worked out every stage of rock ‘n’ roll ecstasy. Were you there to witness the momentous occasion?
