John Ashcroft to sing in Eugene (really!)

Former attorney general John Ashcroft will be speaking and singing at 10 am Sunday, Jan. 25, at Willamette Christian Center , 2500 W. 18th Ave. Free. Ashcroft will be singing some of his original songs, including "Let the Eagle Soar" and presenting an inspirational message, says Pastor Rick Jackson. New blues rock video pays tribute to Oregon Ducks in honor of making the national championship game today. No credits on the video but we rcognize one Eugene musician,  Paul Biondi on sax.
