Kids will outgrow clothes, bikes and toys faster than parents can keep up. Kathie Fischer learned this after her first child was born. “It just stacks up,” she says with a laugh. So Fischer founded the Itty Bitty Boutique in 2008, a one-stop consignment market in a tiny area at Camp Harlow. Now it’s at the Lane Events Center for three days, and Fischer says that more than 400 people have consigned not just clothes, bikes and toys, but also books and games that new families can choose from at favorable prices. There is anything toddlers and teens need at the boutique, “and any baby clothes you can think of,” Fischer adds. “Our sale has been able to help families out.”
The Itty Bitty Boutique is this weekend at the Lane Events Center, 796 W. 13th Ave. Friday’s hours are 9 am to 8 pm, Saturday’s hours are 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday’s hours are 9 am to 2 pm.
