Amid skyrocketing housing costs and perpetual budget constraints, Eugene urban planners unveiled an innovative solution designating the city’s extensive network of speed humps as tiny home studios for student renters. “At 12 square feet each, they’re admittedly cozy, but they offer excellent accessibility to transportation infrastructure,” a city of Eugene Housing manager told the eug.
