Opening Nights

Rabbit Hole opens Friday, Feb. 27, at the Lord Leebrick.

David Lindsay-Abaire’s play takes a content, happy, middle-class couple and shatters their world. This play blew away critics at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival last year, and we have hopes that the Leebrick’s actors and director Larry Fried can pull off this intensely funny, intensely devastating piece. Show dates are Feb. 27-28 and March 5-8, 12-15 & 19-21. Tix at www.lordleebrick.com or 465-1506.

As You Like It  opens Friday, Feb. 27, at the UO’s new Hope Theatre.

You may have seen the UO’s wildly successful Midsummer Night’s Dream, and we’re sure the faculty and students are hoping for another comedic success with As You Like It in the new black-box Hope Theatre. We love the gender-bending possibilities in AYLI & hope that the costume and scene shops, and of course the actors, match the exuberance of the script. Show dates are Feb. 27-28 and March 5-8 & 12-14. Tix at 346-4363.
