New VA clinic to open in late January

This just in from the Roseburg VA:

The Roseburg VA Medical Center will soon open its new Health Care Center at 3355 Chad Drive in Eugene on Monday, Jan. 25.  VA staff, city leaders and veterans’ groups will mark the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 am.  Tours of the new clinic will be provided prior to the ceremony during the month of January. The public is welcome and all veterans are encouraged to come see the facility.

The new Health Care Center will replace the Eugene Community Based Outpatient Clinic on River Road and River Avenue.  The new 120 thousand-square-foot facility will provide primary care, mental health, women’s health, audiology, physical, speech and occupational therapy as well as an onsite dispensing pharmacy. In addition to expanding the existing services offered in Eugene, new services planned for this clinic include:

• Ambulatory Surgery   

• Laboratory

• Imaging

• Speech Pathology

• Ophthalmology

• Prosthetics      

• Cardiopulmonary

• Orthopedics

• Gastroenterology                           

• Dental

• Podiatry

• Urology
