Eugene Contemporary Art’s 5th Public Process artist residency is coming to a close: The painter and ceramicist from Georgia, William Ruller, will be giving a free lecture 7 to 8 pm Dec. 5 at the Wave Gallery. The following night, 7 to 9 pm Dec. 6, ECA will host Animula at the Wave, featuring art produced while Ruller was in residency (free).

Planned Parenthood is back with its popular annual holiday event “Naughty Listed: Stories of Holiday Misbehavior” at Cozmic 6 pm Friday, Dec. 6., hosted by local comedian and writer Leigh Anne Jasheway. Get the juice on the holiday misdeeds of other local personalities such as author Melissa Hart, comedian Cress Bates, former Slug Queen Constance van Flandern, journalist Wintson Ross, comedian Jennifer Sparklebritches, comedian Sarah White and novelist and EW contributor Rick Levin.

Local artisans and shops are coming together for “Gifted,” an urban holiday bazaar, noon to 6 pm Dec. 7 at The Barn Light and noon to 6 pm Dec. 14 at Oregon Wine Lab (488 Lincoln St.). Find everything from local wine to jewelry to apparel featuring vendors Wolf Child, Celestia Grace, Little Arrow, Hazel Roberts Vintage, Heritage Dry Goods, Little Pine Knitting Co., Jackson Gaugeworks, William Rose Wines, Oak Street Vintage, Barbara R. Grab your mittens for December’s First Friday ArtWalk downtown, hosted by Eugene Ballet Company Managing Director Riley Grannan, with stops at Harlequin Beads and Jewelry, Out On A Limb Gallery, Karin Clarke Gallery and Studio West.
