I attended the pro-abortion rally at EMU on May 14. Many others were also there. Clearly, many Oregonians support the right to kill unborn humans.

Most striking were the signs they carried: the same empty slogans they have used for 50 years to evade an honest discussion of the atrocity they defend: “Our bodies, our lives!” But they are not your bodies, are they, or your own lives you intend to destroy? You should stop using that idiotic slogan.

Abortion rights are safe in Oregon for the time being. But now we resume the conversation that Roe shut down for 50 years. Let’s make it an honest one.
