Opening Nights
Harvey Opens on Friday, June 13, at Cottage Theatre in Cottage Grove.
If you’ve never seen Harvey (the play or the 1950 Jimmy Stewart movie), you might see the publicity and imagine a sort of post-WWII Donnie Darko. After all, there are big ol’ rabbit ears, or actually, a big ol’ rabbit. And it’s full of crazy relatives, crazy doctors and, well, a six-and-a-half foot tall lapin. Laughter and hijinks ensue, or so we hear. We haven’t seen it yet either. But we’ll have many chances; show dates are June 13-15, 20-22 and 27-29. Tix at www.cottagetheatre.org or 942-8001.
