The good news for Dexter/Lost Valley dwellers is that the Lane County hearings official has reconsidered his earlier ruling on whether to let Lost Creek Rock Products mine without a site review. He also reinstated some of the fines.
The weird news is that Art Robinson isn’t the only Robinson running against Congressman Peter DeFazio. While Art (aka Dr. Arthur B. Robinson) is running as a Republican, his son Matthew Robinson as filed to run as a Democrat against DeFazio in the primary, according to the RG.
