The Oregon Wine Lab hosts a clown game night at 6 pm every Thursday. The event was previously $10, but is now free with a $10 suggested donation, and open to whimsical people of any age. Ellie Buick hosts as her clown-self, Sydney Cigarette, and says she loves the event’s environment. “It’s very warm and cozy, and that’s kind of what we’re going for.” Buick says they play silent movies and welcome attendees to come in clown attire. She says the movies and costumes alike make “the unique game experience” feel like an old-timey clown get-together. The game is played for 10 rounds and winners receive handpicked prizes from Buick. “You never really know what you’re gonna get,” she says. The Wine Lab currently plans to continue hosting clown game night on Thursdays, with no sign of stopping. “We’re hoping to get more people in to play some fun games and get some wine.”
The Oregon Wine Lab Clown Game Night is 6 pm to 8 pm every Thursday, 488 Lincoln Street. Free. Suggested donation $10.
