With the Summer Solstice on the horizon and graduation season wrapping up, it’s time to think about relaxing with a good audiobook, album or streaming TV show.
Let’s get real: For most of us Oregonians, summer just means warm weather and less rain, not less work.
But that said, we really like the idea of relaxing — even if relaxing means driving to work listening to an audiobook about white nationalism. You know what they say, relaxation is in the eye of the beholder. From dancing to Billie Eilish and Charli XCX’s new albums to rotting in bed with adult animated shows, here’s what the folks of Eugene Weekly are streaming.

The last two years have been some of the hardest in Eugene Weekly’s 43 years. There were moments when keeping the paper alive felt uncertain. And yet, here we are — still publishing, still investigating, still showing up every week.

Listening to readers has always been at the heart of Eugene Weekly. This year, that meant launching our popular weekly Activist Alert column, after many of you told us there was no single, reliable place to find information about rallies, meetings and ways to get involved. You asked. We responded.
